A beautiful and sentimental serenade, “Sweet Dreams (feat. Miguel)” conveys the true longing to love and be loved fearlessly. With its infectious blend of pop, R&B, and hip-hop, the song is sure to please listeners everywhere. It would be perfect for a worldwide smash hit thanks to its upbeat blend of popular genres and its universal topic of love.

j-hope continues to broaden his impressive list of collaborators, exploring a variety of genres. “Sweet Dreams (feat. Miguel)” highlights the remarkable synergy between global trendsetter j-hope and the innovative, genre-defying GRAMMY-Award winning R&B artist Miguel. Acclaimed producer Johnny Goldstein, along with songwriters Sam Martin, recognized for his projects with Maroon 5, David Guetta, One Direction, and Sean Douglas, who has worked with Madonna, Sia, and others, contributed to the development of the track.

“With this single having such a clear goal and direction, I feel a mix of excitement and nervousness. After much thought and effort, the song has finally come to life, and I truly hope many people will enjoy it,” says j-hope. In reference to his collaboration with Miguel, j-hope expressed, “He is one of the artists I grew up listening. I believed that Miguel’s distinctive, and rich voice along with his unique artistry would blend seamlessly with the song, and as expected, it turned out amazing.”

Miguel provided his thoughts on the collaboration. “Sweet Dreams is really a nice reprieve, and I’m happy I got to pair with j-hope on his track.” Earlier today, both j-hope and Miguel performed “Sweet Dreams” at The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

The single was released alongside a captivating music video. The music video vividly captures the exhilarating sensation of falling in love, illustrated through the enchanting visuals of a floating house in the sky that expands alongside the blossoming of affection. j-hope walks down the street, accompanied by the floating house that trails behind him. Although the street appears more connected to reality, the individuals he meets there radiate an otherworldly and ethereal presence. The alternating shots between the spaces representing dream (the house in the sky) and reality (the street) blur the lines between the two.

The new single is released shortly after the debut of j-hope’s first solo world tour, ‘HOPE ON THE STAGE.’ The tour will include 31 shows in 15 cities worldwide, featuring performances at Los Angeles’ BMO Stadium on April 4 and 6, marking a historic moment as the first male solo Korean artist to headline a stadium concert in North America. The sold-out Seoul concert from February 28 to March 2 at KSPO Dome, which marked the beginning of the tour, garnered a perfect five-star review from NME. The review commended the show as a testament to j-hope’s passion for the stage, stating that it showcased his diverse talents and enabled him to shine more brightly than ever before. Last month, he revealed an unexpected collaboration track titled “LV Bag (feat. j-hope of BTS & Pharrell Williams)” with Don Toliver, produced by Pharrell Williams for Louis Vuitton’s Men’s Fall-Winter 2025 Show.

j-hope’s “Sweet Dreams (feat. Miguel)” is now available on all streaming platforms worldwide.
