The newly opened restaurant in QC is perfect for family-feasts and friendly get-togethers

Last April 8, I visited Caffè Allor Ristorante, a restaurant that offers a unique blend of Filipino and Italian cuisine. If you want to discover the perfect blend of tradition and fusion in food, this is a new restaurant to check out.

Caffè Allor Ristorante opened its doors last April 11, 2025, in Brgy. Paligsahan, near Scout Reyes and Scout Delgado. If you’re a foodie, a lover of fusion cuisine, or simply seeking a unique dining spot with friends and family in Quezon City, this hidden gem guarantees an unforgettable experience.

What Makes Caffè Allor Ristorante Unique?

This Filipino-Italian fusion restaurant isn’t just about food—it’s a heartfelt tribute to family, flavor, and the vibrant cultures of the Philippines and Italy. Owner Mark Wang named the restaurant in honor of his parents, combining “Al” from his father Albino and “Lor” from his mother Lorita. With a background in supplying high-quality ingredients to restaurants, Mark brings his passion and expertise to every dish on the menu. While on his honeymoon in Italy, he was so fascinated by the classic streets and buildings of Tuscany that he was inspired to open a restaurant in Manila having the character of Tuscany in mind. “The goal for the restaurant is to create a family-friendly space where families can relax, enjoy a proper meal, and share delicious food together,” shares Mark.

Dine in an Indoor Piazza Right in Quezon City

Once you step inside Caffè Allor Ristorante, you’ll find a piazza-style dining area that transports you straight to Siena, Tuscany. Think cozy seating, a central fountain, and an atmosphere that’s both elegant and welcoming. It’s the perfect spot for:

  • Family get-togethers
  • Romantic dates
  • Food adventures with friends
  • Intimate events and celebrations

With enough parking slots and a private dining room for up to 18 guests (complete with a projector, sound system), it’s also ideal for business lunches, product launches, and special occasions.

Must-Try Fusion Dishes

Caffè Allor’s menu blends the “favorites” of Filipino cuisine with the finesse of Italian culinary tradition:

[Top left - Lower Right] Shrimp Cocktail with cheese dip, Sisig Fiore, Sardina Pasta, Shrimp Cocktail, Baked Salmon, Honey Lechon Kawali, Sisig Pancit, Golden Egg Waffle, and Sinigang na Baboy with Mango

Mango Sinigang – A bold twist on the classic sour soup, featuring crispy pork and ripe mango.

Golden Egg Waffle – Inspired by kwek-kwek, this version comes with edible gold for a luxurious touch.

Sisig Fiore – Savory pork sisig served in a fried crepe bowl with quail eggs on top.

Baked Salmon – Salmon fillet topped with herbed, creamy cheese topping

Prefer traditional Italian food? Enjoy their:

[Top Left - Lower Right] Sardina Pasta, Caffe Shakerato, Pistachio Cioccolate, Creamy Cheese Kangkong Pizza, and Puto Bumbong Crepe

Creamy Cheese Kangkong Pizza – A Neapolitan style pizza featuring kangkong layered over cream cheese base

Sardina Pasta – Fettucine pasta tossed with sardines with a bit of chili

Puto Bumbong Creape – Ube crepe with cheese cream filling with a sprinkle of muscovado sugar

Caffe Shakerato – Italian- style shaken Iced Coffee

All Italian recipes are made with imported ingredients like truffle oil, tomato sauce, and cheese to ensure authenticity. Their coffee grounds, however, came from local produce.

Family-Friendly, Instagrammable, and Absolutely Delicious

Caffè Allor Ristorante is such Instagram-worthy restaurant. Mark pointed out that they chose not to hire a professional interior designer for the restaurant’s interior. It was all his, along with the contributions of everyone involved in the restaurant. The restaurant’s lighting beautifully adjusts to match the ambiance outside. The restaurant’s lighting is bright in the morning and gradually dims in the afternoon and evening. A projection of the moon on the ceiling enhances the ambiance. Caffè Allor meets every expectation. The inviting atmosphere, charming arrangement, and impressive culinary creations are crafted to give everyone an overall good dine-out.

To conclude

Whether you’re craving Filipino comfort food with a twist or a taste of Italian cuisine, in a memorable place to dine with friends and family, Caffè Allor Ristorante is a must-visit. Book your table, make memories, and prepare for a culinary smorgasbord that combines the heart of Filipino hospitality with the soul of Italian cooking.
