I don’t think I could ever express further my love for UNIQLO. It already reached to a point wherein I could give up all the clothes that I have inside my closet (except for my swimwear hehe) for all things UNIQLO. Am I obsessed? I guess. But it’s okay because the brand has all the basics that I need and it’s so easy to mix and match what they’re offering at their stores. I’m lucky that as a resident here in the South, I now have two UNIQLO stores that I can go to and the latter and latest would be the one that’s newly opened at the Westgate, Alabang. It’s the first roadside store of UNIQLO in the Philippines and it’s massive— a shopping space of 1,518 square meters massive. It’s a one-stop shop for the whole family because it carries the brand’s full range of items for men, women, kids, and babies.

I got to attend the press preview of the UNIQLO Westgate Alabang branch, which is now open to the public, and I got to include a bunch of favorite things that I’d be purchasing from this outlet soon. Check ‘em out.

Pocketable UV Cut Parka

With the ever-unpredictable weather here in our country, this pocketable parka is just what we need. It’s compact and light enough that you can put it in your bag (in my case, my Tita bag) and it’s water-repellant too.

Sweat Hoodie Long Sleeve Dress

I can see myself wearing this outside. With the rainy season still on-going and meetings sometimes being scheduled, you have no choice but to go out and soldier on. I’ll wear this with leggings and rain boots and I’m good to go.

Crew Neck Short Sleeve Shirt

Sometimes, all you need is a plain shirt, favorite jeans, and you’re all set. That’s the kind of person I am nowadays. I used to be a fan of printed and flashy shirts, now that I’m at that age, I want my tops to be more subdued. This is from Uniqlo’s Fall/Winter 2019 collection, which is a classic t-shirt style with a vintage rugged finish. I love that it doesn’t look too hot to wear.

Ribbed Flare Pants

I love how it looks so convenient and easy to wear. Since it sometimes gets a bit humid and I don’t feel like wearing jeans, I wear my culottes and this would be a great addition to my easy to wear pants family.  It has pockets, which I like, and it’s made of stretch material. It’s also flared so it’ll enhance the shape and length of your legs.

Washed Jersey Work Jacket

It’s not as if I need another jacket in my closet but this pre-washed jacket has all the pockets that I need in a jacket. Plus, it looks like a military jacket but with a more comfortable and stretchy material.

Pleated High-Waisted Long Skirt

I’m not much of a skirt wearer but if I do wear one, I want it to be flowy and with enough length that’s easy for me to sport during my commute. That’s why this UNIQLO skirt is perfect. I can see myself wearing my white sneakers with this.

The New UT SPRZ NY Andy Warhol and Keith Haring Prints

I really don’t need more t-shirts but these new prints from the UT collab are so tempting to collect, especially the Andy Warhol and Keith Haring prints. Special mention would be this Jean Michel-Basquiat shirt that I might cop soon hehe.

All of these and more are available at the UNIQLO Westgate Alabang. For more details, visit UNIQLO Philippines’ website at www.uniqlo.com/ph and social media account, Facebook (facebook.com/uniqlo.ph), Twitter (twitter.com/uniqloph) and Instagram (Instagram.com/uniqlophofficial).
