Singapore is one of the places that I love visiting over and over, so when the opportunity came to do so last year, I went. I stayed there for five nights; ate and walked around. Here are a few photos that I took from that trip.
Comfort is key. I travel wearing really comfortable clothes. I decided to wear my Air Max because it’s the most comfy footwear that I have to date, a tank top, and my Uniqlo culottes.Manila is overpopulatedThe obligatory cloud shots
My lunch on the plane. My airline going to and leaving Singapore was PAL instead of the usual Cebu Pacific. I liked it very much.Arrived around 7PM at Singapore.
Stayed at my friends’ Ina and Kokog place at Rivervalle. Here they are with their sons Sebastian and JoaquinMy first meal in Singapore. We had dinner at Chomp Chomp Food Center, it’s a hawker which is a short drive near my friends’ place. We had oyster omelette, chicken wings, some shells, and grilled vegetables and mushrooms.
We also had Hokkien Mee
Joaquin and Sebo. They were really small when I saw them a few years ago. Now, they’re toddlers playing and annoying each other just like normal brothers. Hehehe.
First breakfast at Kopitiam in Rivervale. I like ordering breakfast at an Econo Bee Hon. It’s one of their stalls that you can order pancit with several viands. It’s cheap and very good.

Had lunch at Lau Pa Sat. It’s really not the same as it used to be. But it was still an experience being able to visit it again.
I had Char Siew for lunchAt One Raffles Place posing Tan Wee Lit’s “All the Essentially Essential” installation. It’s an interactive piece representing essentials for work and play by an average Singaporean.Massive buildings at the One Raffles Place but surrounded by greens and lack of pollution.
