Between Us Fan Meet in Manila 2023

What went down at the fun and memorable event

I’d been looking forward to this fan meet for months, and it finally happened! I’ve always admired the pairing of Boun Noppanut and Prem Warut in the Thai BL series Until We Meet Again and Between Us. I was thrilled to learn that they, together with the cast of Between Us, would be visiting for a one-day fan event produced by Wish Us Luck Entertainment.

This was my second fan meet, and I was expecting nearly the same activity and intensity as the previous, which was with the cast of Love in the Air. However, the Between Us fan meet caught me off guard because it became emotional near the end. But, before we get there, let’s go back to the beginning. Aside from Boun and Prem, attendees included Bosston Suphadach, Sammy Coates, Yacht Patsit, Oreo Puwanai, Tae Weerapat, and Benz Panupon. They sang songs and had segments for each couple and group. TaeBenz were the first to have their own segment. They sang a song first, then played a game. They used those electric shock lie detector gadgets and Benz was shocked several times. The next duo to take the stage were BosstonSammy, who delighted everyone with a song before playing their game, which was a word association challenge. OreoYacht was up next. Oreo caught me off guard when he showed up near our spot before joining Yacht on stage while they sang. Their game consisted of raising a sign with their names on who did what more. BounPrem finished up by answering fan questions following their song.

They’re all incredibly delightful, and as much as I wish I could pick a favorite, everyone was so charming that I ended up enjoying watching them all. When a surprise video prepared by their Filipino fans was displayed to the group near the end of the event, they became emotional as they delivered their remarks. For their final number, they wore barongs and Sammy wore a contemporary Filipiniana while singing a IV of Spades original titled “Come Inside of My Heart.” They thanked everyone who came since they had a terrific time and enjoyed all of the fan projects, cheers, and screams.
