When I got the invite to the Aquaman Fan Event, I was beyond ecstatic because first, I’ve never been to a fan meet and second, Jason Momoa will be there. Finding out that actress and his co-star in the movie Amber Heard and director James Wan would also be at the event, made it event more awesome.

The movie Aquaman is the story of half-surface dweller, half-Atlantean Arthur Curry (Jason Momoa), as he unites two worlds and search for the lost trident of Atlan. He’s joined by Mera (Amber Heard) in this quest and battle between Arthur Curry’s half-brother Orm (Patrick Wilson) and Black Mantra (Yahya Abdul-Mateen II). The movie was directed by James Wan, known for his work in The Conjuring franchise, as well as Furious 7, Lights Out, and Anabelle.

I’ve been following Jason Momoa on Instagram and he’s probably one of the most energetic people that I’ve seen. Even though they traveled half-way around the world and having not enough sleep, the stars of Aquaman and Wan didn’t show any signs of being dreary during the fan meet. They all generously took photos and sign artworks, toys, and Aquaman paraphernalia from Pinoys who waited for hours to meet them. Check out photos that I took from the fun Aquaman fan meet below.
